Claire Ricard - 5th Yr. TRANSFER '20 Recruiting Profile

I've had an incredible collegiate volleyball journey at the University of St Thomas grow through the historic transition from D3 to D1, and I'm looking to transfer to a city to continue playing volleyball as a grad student, ideally continuing my music or recording arts studies. If that isn't available, I may consider starting an MBA. I especially want to be in a city that is or is near a music industry hot spot. I want to be able to get an internship next spring that could turn into a job in the music business. I'm excited to keep growing as player in a new place, and make some positive and competitive impact on a new team.

I am very confident in my abilities to put up a block and execute a blocking scheme. I can also be offensive as a lefty. and I do my role as a right side picking up off blocker, tips, and stepping in and executing a second ball on occasion. I am also am looking forward to meet some new coaches with different perspectives, and lead by example by being coachable, and by working hard on the court, in the weight room, and in the classroom.
