Personal Statement

Coaches want athletes with measurable physical talents. I feel I have those talents and other on-court strengths that coaches are looking for in an athlete. I am also a person who is driven to succeed in everything that I do.  My goal in high school was to excel in the classroom and on the court. I love volleyball, but I also take pride in everything I have accomplished in the classroom in my high school career.  I love being part of a team. Being a good teammate is very rewarding.

I am a leader! As a setter, I am a leader on and off the floor. I was named captain of the volleyball team this past season as the only Junior on the team.   

I have received the All-Around Student Award 2 years in a row. This award is given to the top 5 girls and 5 boys in each class. Our high school staff selects the winners of this award. This is a great honor since we have 513 students in my class.
