Hannah Alvarez '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hannah Alvarez, and I am an outside hitter for the class of 2024. I have played volleyball for seven years and continue to grow in my love for the sport every season. From a young age, I was exposed to competitive volleyball and always dreamed of being at the level of those high-level athletes. Thus, I want to fulfill my aspirations by playing at a competitive volleyball university while pursuing my field of choice.

Every time I step on the court, I intend to set an example for my teammates through my energy, determination, and passion for the sport. Whether I am training, practicing, or playing, I want to set a positive example and show others that hard work can pay off. I am a coachable player and want to get critiqued on my technique, so I play to my best potential. I train hard outside of practice as well, focusing on reps and continually getting stronger and faster.

I understand that playing at such a high level for a quality program is no easy feat, but I want to accept the challenge. I have an indisputable love for the game and want to continue playing into my college career.
