Vanessa Hardgrow '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am a 6' tall Middle Hitter who lives by determination, grind, and the love of volleyball. I know that I can offer unique and diverse talents to a college team through my outgoing personality, leadership, and volleyball skills. I have played, loved, and lived volleyball from the 3rd grade.  

In high school, I played alongside determined competitors, just like me. Our skills and leadership brought us to winning our league (MSL) championship. I had also played for Elite Volleyball Training Center in Plain City, Ohio on the 17u National team! As a freshman, this past season(2022), I practiced and trained at Alderson Broaddus University NCAA II. I am now looking for a new experience elsewhere. 

 Academically, I try my best in every class. I truly believe that being a student-athlete builds character. I am disciplined, determined, and supportive of others. I have self worth while valuing others as well. I want to be the best while bringing out the best in others too. All of this in a nutshell is why I want to continue to play college volleyball.
