Emma McCrann '26 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball in 6th grade when I didn't make the basketball team, and it was the best thing to happen to me. I love the pace, strategy, and teamwork that volleyball offers. Over the last five years I've had the opportunity to play on my club team and had coaches that pushed me to be a better player and teammate. During the fall of 2022, I played both varsity and JV for my high school team which allowed me to make new friends and further develop my volleyball skills. This fall was a starter for the varsity team and earned an 2nd Team All Division award and Newcomer of the Year award.  Some of my strengths are being a versatile and coachable player. I am always open to new feedback and like to see myself improve. I pride myself with being a good teammate and always having a positive mindset and high energy. While I love volleyball, I also want to find a college that is a good academic fit. I'm looking forward to seeing what opportunities exist for me.
