My name is Chloe Marson, and I have been playing volleyball since I was in 6th grade. At the start of middle school I wanted to try something new, so I went out for the volleyball team. After playing that year I fell in love with the sport, and knew I wanted to keep playing throughout my academic years. As I get older, and the years of playing volleyball are starting to dwindle, I know that I don't want to stop playing the sport I love.
Off of the court I love traveling to Michigan to be with my big family, playing games, watching movies, making art, and hanging out with my friends (most of whom play volleyball with me). I am very committed to my academics and hope to be a valedictorian in the future. All of my classes are either honors, advanced honors, or AP classes. By the end of senior year I plan to have taken a total of 8 AP classes. I am currently a part of National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Beta, and DECA. I have been the most active in DECA for the past 2 years. My team and I have placed second overall at the state level and advanced to nationals both years.
My goal is to continue playing volleyball at the college level and be part of a team that's like a family. Since I've been an all around setter for the past 5 seasons, I have become a well-rounded, versatile player. I've grown strong at the net blocking and dumping as well as defensively in the back row. I am a very coachable player and take criticism well. I find my flaws and focus on fixing them as well as improving my other skills. I've played for many different coaches over the years, and I always treat each one of them with respect like they've been coaching the same team for years. Thank you for considering me and getting to know a little more about me on and off the court.
