I’ve always been active as a kid. I started by playing soccer and later moved into doing karate to which I did for six years. I’ve completed in multiple competitions and I am an advanced brown belt. After leaving karate I moved into playing volleyball by playing in a small league with my classmates.
With my teammates moving up to club team once our season ended I needed to ensure I wouldn’t get left behind. So during the summer I worked in clinics and my free time to make sure that when the group left I would leave with them. My coaches took a chance on me and I made San Antonio‘s 14s local club team. I was extremly grateful but it wasn’t enough. I wanted to make a team not because of hard I was willing to work but because of my skill set. So during my club season I worked until I was sure I had earned my spot on that court and then I kept working for my teammates. I kept working to be the reliable teammate they deserved next to them on that court.
Currently I am on the San Antonio Magic 15’s regional team. Where I work with my coaches, both club and high school, to improve my skill set and physical abilities.
