Personal Statement
As a former member of my high school varsity volleyball team I have learned to work with different personalities and take direction from my coach. I also participate in a highly competitive academic high school and have achieved a class rank of 76 out of 747 students. My peers have helped me focus my intellectual goals and maintain personal success. Incorporating my teamwork capabilities and my willingness to learn will help me achieve the goals I’ve set for myself on a collegiate level. I want to achieve something that is greater than myself and I understand that this cannot be done alone. If allowed to participate in your program, I would be exposed to likeminded peers and mentors who could inspire me to become a better athlete and student.
