Personal Statement
My name is Leslie Williams and I've been playing volleyball since I was 11 years old. My main positions are outside and defensive specialist, but I've played everywhere on the court successfully.
My freshman year, I was honored to start varsity as a right side hitter. Ever since then I've worked 110% to have my starting position. This junior year, I was honored by getting All District after winning districts with the best teammates a girl could ask for! Then, All Region, after placing 2nd in Regionals.
For club, I've played mostly all the positions on the court which were outside, right side, defensive specialist, middle. This season I am a outside hitter.
My passion for volleyball is out of this world, I also want to be able to help kids with a disability. Ever since I was about 11, I've always wanted to be able to help little autism girls play volleyball and help them succeed in everything they try to do with or without sports. On the other side of that, I want to go into medical school, and become one of the best surgeons in the world.
My favorite volleyball experience this would have to be going to Districts and Regionals with my awesome teammates. I wouldn't trade them for the world!
One of my many goals is to play college volleyball. I know my attitude, dedication and integrity as a player will help me to be an asset to my team.
