Maelle Paul '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been involved in several varsity sports beginning in eighth grade. I stand out because being a part of multiple athletic teams makes me a stronger student as well as athlete. I am not one or the other. I am a STUDENT ATHLETE. I am part of  volleyball to not only improve my own performance in the sport but I also  aim to elevate the team around me and fellow students interested in learning more about the program. As a sophomore and Junior team captain of our varsity volleyball team it was important for me to extend our R.I.S.E athletic culture by leading through example as a student , dedicating myself to practicing as an athlete even in off season club participation and persevering in challenging circumstances during the pandemic. It was an exciting junior year of continued development in a new division of play in our conference. I'm looking forward to club season at VAVA and the many tournaments ahead in 2023. During my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and travel. Some of my hobbies are baking and volunteering. I am excited to see what the future holds!
