Personal Statement
I have played volleyball for 7 years, but the highlight of my volleyball experience, was being on the team in 2015, that won the Northwest Jamboree, the PNQ, and The Colorado Crossroads. My team ranked #1 in the nation for the USA division, and we finished 11th at the National Championship in New Orleans. Volleyball has given me the opportunity to travel, learn first hand about working hard, and being strong mentally as well as physically. Due to not having a Club Volleyball team in my home town this year, and not being able to travel, I was not able to be on a Club Team. However, that did not stop me from being involved in volleyball. I took on a coaching job, as the Assistant coach for the KC Thunder 14U Black tournament team. After winning the High School Coaches award two years running, coaching gave me the confidence to be a strong, positive and competitive leader. My positive attitude, drive to learn and willingness to succeed, will compliment any college team that is looking for a libero that will put their heart on the court. I am very focused in all that I do, athletically as well as academically.
