Julia Glukhovsky '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

My name is Julia Glukhovsky, and I am a current student at Louisville High School and a rising senior (class of 2024). I have been a club swimmer since the age of 11, and a club basketball player since I was 4 years old. I was inspired to join water polo because I understood it was almost a certain mix of the 2 sports I knew how to play. The first day I picked up a water polo ball, I was in love and felt a passion so deep, I knew I had to pursue the sport. I joined during my sophomore year, and quickly realized afterword's that this is what I was meant to do. I aspire to play for college because I want to ultimately get recruited to be a part of the official woman's U.S.A. Team and ultimately compete in the Olympics. I am a player who is a natural born leader, and I always strive to bring those around me to become their best selves. I am an extremely flexible player, and am known on my team for having the most endurance and for being able to take on every position whenever another player is needing rest. I have confidence in my abilities and in my speed. I am a reliable player, as well as a great listener who has the ability to here something once and execute it perfectly. I am also a natural leader outside of the pool, as I am in the leadership program at Louisville, a part of the MUN team and a part of the service club. Academically, my GPA is a 4.2 and I excel in liberal arts.
