My name is Brek Laducer and I am a native american student at turtle mountain community high school. I am a three sport athlete, participating in wrestlinf, cross country, and track & field. I have been in wrestling since my freshman year of high school. The weights I have wrestled throughout high school are 145/152(Freshman2011-2012), 160/152(Sophomore 2012-2013), and 170(Junior 2013-2014). I am a very good student; being on the A honor roll every year of high school and being ranked in the top 10 of my class. I've been in Student Council at my school since my sophomore year and always participate in leadership activities. I have a very good work ethnic because I will always push myself from the beginning to the very end. My main goal in college wrestling is to become a national champion. I think that I can do this because I am not the type of person to just settle for just average. I have come a very long way from my freshman year to now, and that is all thanks to the J Robinson intensive camp(did not finish due to concussion suffered on day 22 of camp). I continued to work my body harder and harder after I left the camp and was able to begin training again and became an even stronger athlete. This camp along with my supporting family and friends taught me that I can push myself to be a better person in the classroom, in the world, and on the mats. My main goal in college is to become a pediatric doctor for children and that came to my realization after helping coach young kids at the local youth wrestling club in my hometown. I think what sets me apart from other athletes is the fact that I am able to take lessons from my mistakes and apply them to myself to get better. I also will push myself to workout on my own time without being told to. One thing that I wish to do after high school is join the Army and serve our country for a period of time before college. After my enlistment is up, i wish to go to wrestle at the collegiate level. I display leadership qualities whenever I workout or practice by pushing my teammates/friends so they have the motivation to finish their workout strong. And lastly, I enjoy pushing my body past it's normal limits to where it hurts because it shows me that I am pushing myself to get stronger. My name is Brek Laducer and I appreciate your consideration to be added to your roster.
