My goals as a Wrestler are to be State Qualifier and overall enjoy Highschool wrestling. I would be a great candidate for your team because I'm always keeping my Grades up while still maintaining a regular Practice and Lift Schedule. What makes me different is that no matter the circumstances I'm always looking for an opportunity to get time on the mat and improve. After a bad match I take time to reflect and then I'm right back to supporting my teammates and preparing for my next match. I’ve made an effort to support the young guys on our team by attending our JV events and helping support and warm up JV kids. Wrestling has changed my life in many ways before wrestling I didn't play any sports so I never quite understood team work. But since I started I've learned multiple things like how my drill partner affects me just as much as him if I'm not working my hardest they aren't getting any better and neither am I. I received the Most Improved Award at the end of the season. I also was elected as a 2023-2024 Team Captain by my teamates. I am very self motivated and always wanting to get better no matter the situation. Academically , I work hard and take my grades seriously. I consistently have As and Bs. I am exploring careers for after college but have not decided upon a major.
