Baseball is a sport that has changed my life for the better, and it's something I want to be a part of forever. It has truly been an escape for me and my outlet. Playing this sport collegiately is one of the biggest steps I can take, and it's my ultimate goal. From the moment I first picked up a bat and glove at the young age of four years old, I knew I wanted to play at a higher level. Baseball is a mental sport, and confidence is necessary for excelling. Confidence is also key to performing well in the game, and I believe I possess that quality. Etched in my mind are the words my former coach said, 'It takes a cool head to play a hot game.' I am mentally present at all times on and off the field. I know there is always room for improvement in all aspects, so I strive to do my best, whether it's in school, my job, improving in baseball, or the weight room. This allows me to enhance myself in all aspects of my life.
