Personal Statement

Thank you for visiting my recruiting page.  I appreciate the time you have taken to learn more about me.

I want to work hard not only at baseball but with my academics as well. I want to be the most intelligent and hardest worker I can be. I would make your team better because I bring lots of energy, heart, and show love to everyone on the team. My character stands out in close games when we need a leader on the field. Not only am I a great player, I also work hard to keep a 4.0 GPA (my goal every year to the day I graduate).

Understanding that the money provided for baseball scholarships is limited, I strive to not only receive a baseball scholarship, but also to supplement that with an academic scholarship as well.  I plan to major in business, with plans to take over my father's Insurance Agency, or Physical Therapy, following in my mother's footsteps.  She works with special needs children, which also appeals to me.

I have had much success during my short baseball career, being named to the All Tournament Team at every perfect game event I have played in, except 1.  I have always enjoyed the competitive aspect of sports, along with being part of a team.   I am a 3 sport athlete, starting, and excelling on all teams I have been a part of.

My sophomore year, I was All Conference and All State in both Baseball and Tennis.  My baseball team finished 29-4 and made it to the state semi's.  My partner and I won the conference doubles championship in tennis, finishing 4th in the state.

I have returned to the football team for my JR year.  I am the starting defensive end, play special teams, and play H Back.  I feel football will help me to become bigger, stronger, and faster for baseball!!  I was named All Conference in football and our team won the conference championship!

I am excited about my Junior year in baseball which begins soon!!

Please feel free to contact me, or any of my coaches if you need any additional information!! Here is my cell phone number, 870-819-1041.

Thanks for taking the time to view my profile, I look forward to hearing from you!!!!
