Gabriel Villa '20 Recruiting Profile

Some things that have influenced  my life are my younger siblings. My brother Christian and sister Noemi were born with a very rare skin condition. Their skin is very fragile and blisters easily. This makes their lives hard. This also makes them unable to participate in competitive baseball but they still participate with a challengers team. When I go to their games it makes me appreciate how lucky I am to have to opportunity to play baseball in high school and hopefully college.

My goal is to play baseball for as long as I can. I have learned that this game is a game of failure and I am not going to be perfect in this game but I am willing to work as much as I can to better myself. I want to be a role model and show my younger siblings that they can do anything through hard work.
