Jayden Ruiz '25 Recruiting Profile

Sports is my passion and since 4 years old I have been playing both Baseball and Football. At 12 years old after leaving the Cooperstown tournament, I decided to focus more on baseball. That trip along with many coaches strongly influenced my love for the game. That trip also ignited my family to start traveling more. Our favorite pastimes are to travel to different states and visit their MLB parks. So far, I have been to 11 out of the 30 Ballparks.

 My freshman year of High School I learned that others look up to me. I won the frosh-Soph MVP in Football as a lineman/linebacker. Also my freshman year I was the baseball team captain. It motivated me to keep a positive attitude on and off the field and always work hard to show my peers to never give up. A huge obstacle I have had to overcome was to not let social media get me down about myself and my accomplishments. I have met so many talented players in travel ball and I must remind myself that I am on my own path and not everything is perfect like they post.

I have a strong work ethic in both academics and athletics. I was the ASB Freshman Class President, and I have a lot of Pride in my High School. Right now I am the ASB Gold Rush Commissioner (school Pride) I hope to find a college with a lot of traditions along with school spirit and a competitive athletic program.  I am intrigued with the stock market and real estate. I am looking for a college with a strong academic program in finance and business.
