Colton Jenkins '20 Recruiting Profile

As a successful dual sport athlete, some of the greatest experiences I have had include winning the section championship in football and competing in the Northern California championship as a sophomore then leading my team to the section championships again as the starting strong safety and backup quarterback during my junior year. As a sophomore in high school I was fortunate to play Varsity baseball as a utility player. I proved myself as a starting outfielder mid-season and continued to excel throughout playoffs. The thrill of competing at a higher level solidified my lifelong love for baseball and made me realize I wanted more from baseball than just a high school experience. As a result, my focus has shifted to playing baseball competitively at the next level. I intend to play baseball in college while studying biology and ultimately becoming a Fish and Wildlife officer.

The most important things in my life are my family and my church. My close relationship with my mother and father has always provided a strong foundation for my successes. Playing alongside my older brother throughout the years has strengthened and bonded us closer in and outside of sports. He has always motivated me to excel at all levels. As a member of my church, I am frequently involved in service projects and support members of our community in need of assistance.
