Hi Coach,
I am writing to express I have a strong desire to continue competing in college. I am 6' & 165 lbs and I will graduate in the spring 2017 from Hanford West High School. My primary position is OF, but I can also play 2B and pitch. I would like to initiate a dialogue regarding your athletic program and academic institution.
In 2016, I played for Marlins Scout Team Orange(based out of Fresno) in the fall and winter. I also play with Cen Cal Baseball Academy summer & fall teams in very competitive tourneys and showcases. I'm currently taking private lessons in explosive/speed, hitting and pitching with Diamond Academy in Visalia. My current best 60 yard time is 6.76, home to 1st 4.08, 90 ft. 3.75 and OF/IF velos range 83-89 mph. Everyday I'm working hard and determined to get better.
My goals is not only to play at a competitive next level, but to also achieve a great education. I'll come to work every day, work hard and establish trust with my colleagues, teammates, & coaches.
I am a game changer and give 110 % on and off the field. I have also volunteered with the Kings County Bombs travel team in the Fresno Food Bank Drive(2014) and in our HWHS baseball Xmas tree give away(2013,2014 & 2015).
I am a great individual that values that nothing is given but earned. Everyday I'm getting better in my school grades & train very hard to improve my baseball skills.
