Hello,
My name is Kayhlen Boring, I am a 15 year old athlete from Hanford, California. I live with my mom, dad, and my younger brother. My mom is a P.E teacher in Delano who was a walk-on at CSU Stanislaus when she played softball, and my dad is a Cheif Officer in the military; he has been in the Navy for over 17 years. I am very grateful for my family for all the support they have given me since I started playing softball.
I just completed my fifth year playing travel softball. Before travel softball, I played T-ball baseball, REC softball, dance, and soccer. I play for Dirtdogs Broussard 18u based out of Fresno, Ca..
My current positionsare RHP, 2nd, and 3rd. I am one of the primary pitchers on my team; my pitching speed averages from 59-62 mph with a hitting EVO of 74mph.
I recently was selected to represent the western region for the USA softball High Performance Pipeline at the the National Evaluation/tryout event that will be held in Mesquite Texas this November 3-6th.
The reason why I would love to go to college is to play softball and receive an education. Ever since I started playing softball, I knew that I wanted to play college ball and hopefully play pro. When I am playing softball and I am influenced my teammates to work hard off and on the field. My peers make me feel really good and doing what I love helps me continue and influence more people that I encounter.
I have maintained a 3.57 GPA average in high school, and I am currently attending Hanford West High School in Hanford, CA. I enrolled in the Medical Academy that enables me to shafow and learn specific traits relevent to my field of study. I will be graduating high-school in 2025. I would like to pursue a profession in the medical field specifically a surgeon specializing in Cardiology or similar filed.
Sincerely,
-Kayhlen Boring
