Mason Sparks '19 Recruiting Profile

I know that gaining a college education and playing baseball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will forever influence my life. My academic goal is to explore a liberal arts or science major that will position me well for medical school.

I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and always strive to be a hard working player. I enjoy working out and putting in extra work to improve my athletic performance on the baseball field. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the team in any way I can and I am asked of.

In the classroom, I take pride in my studies and hard work to maintain a high GPA. I also try to spend time volunteering for local sports leagues and camps. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college to match my academic goals and provide a high level of competition on the baseball field. I hope to become a role model for my college team peers as I have for my high school and club ball team and make my parents proud.
