Niccolas Durso '24 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Niccolas Durso, I live in Aspen Colorado and attend Aspen High School. I am a two sport varsity athlete playing both Soccer and Baseball. For as long as I can remember I have always loved to play the game of baseball. I am looking for an opportunity to play baseball year round at a college or university with strong academics. I began playing baseball at the age of three and started playing organized baseball at the age of seven. Throughout little league I was selected for the All Star Team which played in Grand Junction and was an excellent experience for me to meet other players and compete against better competition at a young age. 

     I was the starting third baseman on my high school varsity team my freshman year. In my most recent high school season (2023) I was unanimously selected as all conference Third Baseman. I pride myself on my ability to adjust to challenges whether it is on the diamond or in the classroom. Living in the mountains of Colorado it is difficult to play baseball given there is snow on the ground for seven months out of the year. During those seven months of the year I try my best to continue to improve if that means taking grounders on the pavement or shoveling out a little spot on a field to take some batting practice. I am looking for an opportunity to show what I am truly cable of accomplishing.
