I have competed at a high level in a number of sports throughout my life, but I have always had a very strong passion for baseball. My goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level at as high a level of competition as I can. I have proven throughout my baseball career that I am extremely hard-working, able to take instruction well, a supportive teammate, and have a deep desire to continue to be a better baseball player. I have had a number of successes in my baseball career including being the starting catcher on my high school team as a freshman and will work to the best of my ability to build on that success. It is important to me as well to go to a college that has the highest academic standards. I attend a high school that maintains very high academic and athletic programs and am aiming to find a college with the same degree of emphasis. My dream is to combine both of these important areas of interest and to attend a top flight academic institution and to be a member of their baseball team.
