I aspire to play baseball at the highest level of competition that I can for a college with extremely high academic standards. Playing competitive travel baseball since I was 8 while simultaneously maintaining exceptionally strong academics has given me the requisite experience and insight into the amount of energy and time that is required to sustain a high level of performance in both fields. Throughout my life and baseball career I have proven myself to be a very hard-working, ambitious individual, holding myself to extremely high standards in all aspects of both my game and my academics, while constantly striving to improve in any way I can. Additionally, I'm a very coachable player and an affable and supportive teammate, looking to do whatever's necessary to contribute to my team's success. I hope to attend a college that combines these areas of emphasis in both academics and athletics so that I can be challenged and continue to develop as both a scholar and baseball player.
