Since I began playing baseball, I knew that it had to be a part of my life and I instantly had a dream of playing college baseball.  I have goals of playing college baseball at a highly academic school where I can graduate with a good degree while still playing the sport that I love.  I want to feel prepared for the next step in my life after college and I feel that playing baseball at a highly academic school will set me up for the success that I aspire to have.  I am a good candidate for college teams because of all that I bring to not only the field but also to the school.  I am a smart and intense baseball player who likes to lead by example.  I listen to my coaches and take in what they say.  I also have a want to win and take pride in my team and the school.  I am a good candidate for college teams because of the qualities that make me the baseball player and person that I am.  I am different from other recruits in character because of how bad I want to win and my work ethic.  I pride myself on my preparation work and how I always feel prepared and ready for any situation that gets thrown at me.  Due to this preparation I am able to let loose in games and leave it all out on the field.  I am also different from other recruits because of my achievements in the classroom.  I pride myself on my academic achievement as I am enrolled in the most rigorous course options available to me at my high school and I excel in all of my classes.  I am a good candidate for college teams because of all that I can bring to not only the team and program, but also to the college.
