Personal Statement

Hi! I’m Claudia Barbey a setter who’s played indoor and beach volleyball since 3rd grade. This is my 7th year playing on an open division club team and between High School Varsity, club and beach I play & train all year round. I have a lot of defensive experience as I was a libero in my early years of training. Loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm are a few words that describe me on and off the court. I bring passion and kindness to the court and I’m always a motivator and listener to my teammates so together we can be the best.  

Off the court I love taking it to the sand for some beach volleyball and soaking in the sun, traveling with my family & friends and going to concerts.

My favorite volleyball memories to date include winning the USAV National championship in 2022 and playing for Team Florida U15 Intl to represent my state at the USAV All Star Championship!
