Charles Gothard '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball for as long as I can remember.  I know that playing baseball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change my life. I attended several baseball camps early in my youth at various colleges and those experiences convinced me that I want to play baseball at the college level.

I am a two sport student/athlete and have been team captain in both for several years. I want to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am home schooled and I know what it means to be a hard working self starter with a go get it attitude.  I am taking duel enrollment classes at Toccoa Falls College and have completed the following courses; Communications 113, English 113 and  I am especially proud of completing college algebra with a 94 A.  My goal is to pursue a bachelors degree in business. 

My passion is baseball but I love to play basketball for my school, go fishing with my family, swimming at the lake and I enjoy volunteering with Habitat for Humanity by painting houses, cutting grass and general cleanup during construction. 

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all peers and make my parents proud.
