I love everything about baseball and I am extremely motivated to further my education and play baseball in college. I am a Pitcher & Shortstop and I go to high school at JCA - Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet, Illinois. It's a college prep school in a very tough conference. We just won Varsity conference in 2017 and we also won conference Freshman & Sophomore year, which I am very proud of. I am enrolled in upper college prep academic classes which are honors in public schools. I'd like to major in Pshcyology or Business Administration.
I’ve made great strides on improving as an all-around player the last few years. My fastball has improved over 7 mph over the last year and a half and I throw 4 pitches consistently (fastball, changeup, curveball, slider). I think my versatility is something that can help out your team since I can pitch and play Shortstop. I enjoy playing against the best competition and have had the most personal success against the top ranked teams in the area and against conference opponents. I love playing in those types of games. I’ve made so many friends along the way playing baseball and I would be thrilled to have a chance to continue that at the college level.
I will always be the first player to take my position and I will never be the last player back in the dugout. I learned that when I started playing baseball when I was 8 years old. I would love to continue playing and developing on and off the field. I know I can help your team. I mean every word of this and would look forward to hearing from you if you have any questions.
Thank you for reviewing my profile and my statement.
