Larkin Calay '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Larkin Calay Class of 2025.  I am 5'7 and I play both the Outside and Opposite Hitter positions while also playing DS when in the all around rotation.  I currently play High School Volleyball at Joliet Catholic Academy in Joliet IL and my club team is Eich's Volleyball Club in Plainfield IL. I first fell in love with Volleyball in 5th grade and I have loved playing the sport ever since.

I have had a lot of coaches over the years and they always tell me how positive and coachable I am.  I enjoy receiving feedback from my coaches so I know what they see for me to become a better athlete. I have a positive and fun personality on and off the court and greatly enjoy the camaraderie I have with my teammates.  Over the past 2-3 years I have been involved in a number of clubs at my High School like Key Club, Big Buddies - Little Buddies and Habitat for Humanity.  I also participate on my High School Track team where I hold a number of school records.  I love helping people around my community and staying active in sports. 

I look forward to an opportunity to not only play volleyball at a collegiate level, but to also receive a great education and find ways to give back to my schools local community.

With the support of coaches, teachers and family I am the player I am today. I am looking forward to playing at the next level to show my dedication and commitment I have for the sport.
