Jacob Furmanek '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Jacob Furmanek. I currently Attend Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing IL. I am 17 and apart of the class of 2021. I am 6ft and weigh 160 ibs. I want to play college baseball and I think I would be a great addition to your team. I am A very hardworking dedicated student athlete. I currently pitch, DH and Play first base for travel and high school. As a freshman at TF south, I was moved up to the sophomore baseball team and was the #1 pitcher in the rotation the whole season, and then I was moved up to varsity for play offs that same year. As a sophomore I was on the varsity team as a relief pitcher and a first baseman. I had a 1.5 era in 14 appearances. These past 2 years have been a really good experience for me to mature and learn the game of baseball. In the future I see myself attending college and playing baseball and hopefully have the chance to play in the major leagues.  That is a dream I have had since I first picked up my mitt and bat. I am a good candidate for any team cause I am a team player, I take directions and information that is given to me and I use it to help me further my skill, and I am a leader. In college I want to major in sports medicine and become a Trainer etc. I feel that I can help any program win baseball games, I just want the chance to show my skills.
