I am Chase Niemeyer, a 2025 graduate from Marion High School in Marion, Illinois.
A few things about myself. I will always be the positive energy in a dugout and on the field. I will always try to bring my teammates up when they struggle. I will always try to be more aggressive than my opponent, whether it be the opposing team, or the slow roller coming at me at shortstop. I understand that baseball is a game of failure and your success is usually defined by how you recover from that failure. I know that every throw matters. I ensure that I approach each at bat with a plan. I will always be aware of the situation and have a plan if the play comes to me. I know that it is important to win with grace and lose with dignity.
I am a catcher, but will play wherever I am needed. I play hard and love the game of baseball.
