My goal has always been to play baseball at the collegiate level. It has been my goal since I fell in love with the game many years ago. My other goal is to win on a team that values my skill set and sees me as a piece of their puzzle. Winning in Omaha is the ultimate goal. I believe what sets me apart from other recruits is my versatility on the field, not only in terms of position, but mentally as well. One of my greatest strengths currently is my speed which I can always use at shortstop and with stealing bases, but also if I need to play an inning in the outfield. Being a multi sport athlete has helped me with the mental versatility. I play QB in football which means I have to be able to make decisions quickly and accurately. I believe this has helped me become the SS that I am today. In football I might not be having a huge game statistically but if the offense is moving the ball and scoring then that is all that matters. The same is true for baseball. I might not have a huge night at the plate but if I did my job at SS and we won the game then it’s a win in the end. The team's success and my teammates success has always been more important to me than my own success. I feel like I can help a team win in different ways game to game, inning to inning, and I take pride in that and always will.
