My name is Maddux Frese, class of 2023 from Norway Iowa. I am a very coachable player, great teammate on and off the field and will do whatever it takes to win. My versatility as player on the middle infield and the mound has allowed me to be valuable to each team I have played with. When the game is on the line, I want the ball in my hands and have the mental makeup for those challenging situations. I have grown up around professional baseball as my dad played for 8 years and my travel team coaches are former MLB players and current MILB AAA Coach. I understand the dedication it takes to be successful on and off the field.

Pitching allowed 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 8 batters in 5 innings. Fastball was in the mid-80s range with arm-side run. Breaking ball has occasional tight rotation with depth. Has feel for the strike zone. Also played shortstop, showed sound defensive actions. Line drive, contact hitting approach with the ability to hit to all fields.
