Cole Gilpin '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing some form of baseball since I was five years old.  I love everything about baseball: competing, practicing, teammates, travel, and getting better.  I played varsity as a freshman, and I was a starter on varsity as a sophomore.  I am a pitcher and I play third base and short stop for my high school team.  I have been a solid utility player for my travel team for several years; the only position I haven't had time at is first base.   I play on a very competitive travel tryout team.   We won a state championship in 2020 which was an amazing experience.  I do not know yet what my major will be in college, but I do know I want to play baseball in college.  I lean towards being a secondary teacher and coach.  I spend my time playing baseball, going to the gym, keeping up in school, and going to our community baseball facility.   I'd like to keep baseball in my life for as long as I can.
