Personal Statement

The highlight of my baseball career as of now is winning the Indianapolis World Series. Even though this was a great accomplishment, I have learned the most from losing the state tournament back to back years. That experience led me to overcome adversity, develop a strong work ethic, and most importantly, it taught me how to be a strong leader on my team.

I am very fortunate to be going into a high school program that has had a lot of success in the past. I look to strive in the next four years of my high school career academically and athletically to become the best student-athlete I can possibly be. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me on and off the field. I am a one sport athlete and many people believe this is a setback for me. I have put my life into baseball because I love the game and I am willing to put everything I have into baseball so I can play collegiately. I believe I not only have the skill to play at the college level, but the work-ethic, commitment, and willfulness.

Trained @ MSA (Michigan Sports Academy, Saline, MI)

Trained at MSA as a team as well as independently year round. MSA is run by Coach Chris Harrison - former University of Michigan Baseball Coach and Olympic Baseball Coach (USA Baseball). Other professional coaches include Coach Eric Harris (formerly of Oakland Athletics Organization) and Geoff Zahn (formerly of the California Angels Organization). Weekly hitting as well as hitting and pitching lessons with Coach Harrison.
The Cage Indoor Baseball Facility

Training with the Michigan Blue Jays at indoor facility includes team practices, individual hitting & bat speed work / lessons with Blue Jays Coaches, Hit Trax evaluations, throwing bullpens / arm care & velocity training / Tom House velocity training, strength training and team workouts.

Training with high school team and coaches at Saline HS. Before school and winter pitching workouts including arm care, mechanics, velocity bands & bullpens with pitching coach. After school Individual hitting work with hitting coach. As well as evening team conditioning sessions. Strength, core and flexibility training is done in class during the day.
