Jonathan Woltman '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches. My name is Jonathan Woltman and I plan to continue my athletic and academic career at the college level. I have always had a passion for the sport of baseball. I started playing baseball as early as possible, starting with 4 year old t-ball. Throughout my baseball career, I have successfully played every position and really meet the definition of a utility player. But my favorite positions by far have become catcher and center field. I have specifically focused on growing my skills at the catcher position in the past 3 years (beginning in 7th grade), with one-on-one coaching. I am currently working with a former college player on hitting, catching, and the mental aspects of being a successful ball player. My hitting has taken a massive jump this year, and I plan to continue training with my personal coach as well as learning from my high school coaches. Switching to the academic standpoint, I have kept straight A’s throughout my freshman year at Concordia Academy, a Christian high school, and plan to keep working as hard as possible to maintain a high GPA throughout my high school career. My long-term goal is to get a college degree and be a successful college baseball player, and I will be working hard over the next 3 years to help make that happen.
