I became interested in the sport of Baseball at the age of 5. It was a way for me to show my competitiveness and have fun with other players. While playing baseball, I have learned that I am a very dedicated and energetic person. I also motivate and encourage my teammates. I feel like I can make players around me better. Playing Travel Ball and High School ball has helped me develop different skills and overcome my fear of failing over the years. Being a short baseball player is an obstacle for me, but I don't let my height stop me from becoming the player I want to become. I was the youngest player on my travel ball team as I played up. Through my experiences I was pushed to develop my skills quicker to keep up with older competitors.During my years playing travel ball we won state 3x, back-to-back-to-back. I am currently playing High School baseball only while honing my skills during the off season.
Academically, I am a student who works hard and tries to be one of the best. I am near the top of my high school class. Heading into college, I plan on keeping my GPA at a 4.0 and learning to be more outspoken. I aim to be a leader on and off the field. I am looking forward to finding a school that provides a great education in the areas that align with my academic interests. It’s also important for me to find a school where I can be comfortable with my teammates and classmates. I want to make my dream of being a collegiate and professional come true.
