Hello, my name is Dartanyon Wilcox (6'-1" 155Lb. LHP/1st Base Class of 2019) and I aspire to be a college athlete. My goals are to push myself beyond my known limits and advance myself and my team as best as I physically and mentally can. I wish to advance my baseball career as far as I possibly can and exceed as a student athlete. I also wish to pursue a degree and future career in the engineering field where I hope to be the top of my class and excel in my academics. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA with a 27 ACT score. I am interested in attending either a college or university that will allow me to pursue both my academic and athletic interests. While I am open to any school, I would prefer to stay in the southern and/or eastern states.
The characteristics that distinguish me as an athlete, and as a person is my determination, and overall grit. My work ethic is strong and dependable, which will motivate me and my teammates to be the best that we can. Hard work is key to my success, I push myself and my teammates to not be good, but to be the best in athletics and academics. I strive to be successful in everything I do, and nothing is impossible to accomplish if I apply myself to the task.
