Baseball has had a huge impact in my life. I have participated in competitive baseball and the training that goes with it, year-round since the age of six. Between leagues, tournaments, lessons, and personal workouts, my drive and passion for the game has continued to grow and develop. Watching baseball games and studying the strategy behind various pitches and plays, is a favorite past time of mine. I believe the mental aspect of the game is just as important as the physical piece. My older brother plays college baseball, so I utilize his knowledge of “the college baseball experience” to prepare myself for the future.

I view college as a time to grow and challenge myself academically, as well as, on the field. My academic goal is to pursue a major in business that will prepare me for the ever-changing work force. On the field, my goals include being an effective player, a positive influence, and a leader. I will always work to be an asset on the field and at the plate. I will consistently show respect to the game, my coaches, my teammates, and the school I attend.
