Charlie Copsetta '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Charles Copsetta. I am a junior at Audubon High School in New Jersey. I have played sports my whole life. I started playing baseball at the age of 5. I was always fascinated by the game and wanted to play no matter what was going on. I've played travel baseball for years, and I've made amazing friends. I play travel for South Jersey Ghosts, and I play for my high school team. They are both amazing experiences in their own way. 

Playing baseball is a different type of feeling. You get to play with friends, make memories, and see how far you go. The atmosphere is amazing, with coaches and teammates motivating you. When you get a good hit or make a great play and everyone gets all pumped up ready to keep that energy going. I look forward to every game to step on that field and deliver the best performance to my ability. I never want to let my team down. Nothing is better than getting a nod of reassurance from my coach that I did something good. My travel team coach does everything he can to motivate me to make myself better.

I am reaching the stage in my baseball career where I do not want it to end. I spend hours practicing whether it's with my team, at home by myself, or going to the batting cages to get some swings in. I go to the gym everyday to prepare for baseball season.  I strive to make myself better, I want to be faster, smarter, and stronger. I push myself to achieve my goal in getting better, so I can play at a collegiate level. I can't imagine what I would do without baseball in my life. I have made so many amazing memories within my baseball career so far, and I want to make more. As I said that atmosphere in baseball is something else, and I want to be able to experience it as long as I can.
