Right handed hitter, has a well timed swing with good lift when he gets his hands extended, very strong at contact, tends to cut himself off early out front and create lots of top spin contact, handles the barrel well and gives you confidence he can get to his power. Primary first baseman on defense, has plenty of arm strength for the position. Very good student.

  • 2023 HIGH SCHOOL ALL STATE SELECT CHAMPIONSHIP (2024-2025 GRADS) Ryan Williams is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Absecon, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. Physical with a strong lower half. Primary first baseman who fields it out front cleanly. Makes quick aggressive turns and looks the part. Hops off the bag with good athleticism. Has a pretty strong arm as well. Ran a 7.24 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a lower 3/4 slot. Uses a high knee tuck to get downhill and land in line. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base. Uses a small stride for timing and weight transfer. Gets extended at times with impact strength out in front. Almost went yard to center multiple times during his round of bp. Power projects well more than anything. Good Student. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.

  • Camp/Event
  • PG 16U WWBA Northeast Championships
  • 6/23/23 to 6/27/23
  • Ryan Williams (2025, Absecon, NJ) was the top-rated hitter at this weekend’s event. He recorded 8 hits and half were extra-base hits. He also had 6 RBI and 4 walks. Williams is the 6th ranked first baseman in NJ and the 91st overall. This is because he presents a smooth swing and power to all parts of the field. He is a physical player who presents a lot of upside. If he continues to play the way he played this weekend, he will be a force to reckon with throughout his high school career and at the next level.

The arm action was compact with a 3/4 release, displaying a SL and CH also present in the arsenal. • Ryan Williams is a 2025 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Absecon, NJ who attends St. Augustine Preparatory. Recorded a 8.15 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with some lower half strength and plenty of time to physically mature. Primary first baseman with athletic actions around the bag, clean funnel out in front and quick footwork on his turns. Showed agility and range to both sides and delivered online, accurate throws up to 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from a fairly simple delivery with slightly coiled leg lift and shorter stride out to foot strike. Incorporates strong lower half effectively down the slope, while working into a loose three-quarters arm slot. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for most of his outing, topping out at 77 mph in this look. Showed ability to command both sides of the plate fairly well, expanding with two strikes and mixed in a pair of developing breaking balls. A cutter that flashed short horizontal tilt when thrown with conviction and a slower, more traditional 11-5 shaped curveball that showed gradual depth to it. Will continue to improve with minor refinements and additional arm speed. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a low hand set, low back elbow and small hover trigger. Incorporates good separation into contact and flashes compact bat speed and good hip torque. Middle-of-the field approach with ability to turn the barrel on the inner-half, flashes power potential when on-time and in-sync. Fundamentally sound prospect with plenty of projection remaining, will continue to improve with refinement to his tools and additional strength. Excellent Student. Named to the 2021 13U Summer Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
