Kale Watson '26 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations for college are to gain more experience and to increase my skills and knowledge, not only in baseball, but also in academics. I have been working for nearly 7 years to be able to earn a scholarship to play college baseball, in hopes of achieving my dream of playing in the MLB. I am a good candidate for your team because I am hard working, goal oriented, focused, determined, and not influenced by things that other people may be doing. I take my training very serious, whether it is in season or my off season, I am very coachable, and I enjoy creating friendships with my teammates. What makes me different from other athletes is my reasoning for getting a scholarship and making it to college. I want to do it for my mom because she works hard to get me everything I need, whether it's for sports, school, or my basic needs, she has always been my number one supporter and has always been there for me even if it wasn't easy. I also want to prove that being from a small town, with limited resources and connections, shouldn't have a toll on your success. Academics have always been important to me, and I always put school before sports.
