Relief appearance...Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are something I've been working towards my whole life. I have always put academics first( not that my parents gave me a choice), but I've known that grades can be the difference between getting into the school of my choice and having to settle. Sports have been the other part of my focus since I've been able to pick up a ball. I truly want to be able to go to a challenging academic school with a competitive baseball program, a university that will guide me to the best start for my future. I haven't ruled out working equally as hard at baseball to give myself the best possible chance to succeed at the next level. My older sister graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University where she was a record holding Volleyball setter and my Brother is now a Sophomore at Fordham University and is a pitcher for their baseball team. I see how hard they work and the benefits of their hard work and I want the same and more.
