I realize how fortunate I’ve been to have supportive parents, educators and coaches on my journey. They have given me a solid foundation to build upon.
I have been a team member of dance and swim from the ages of 2 and 8 respectively.
2020 has been challenging, but I am willing and ready for rowing at the collegiate level, and my love of the sport shines through. I am willing to work hard to improve with the addition of a comprehensive training plan.
I am well suited in managing my academics, multiple sports, dance, work and volunteer time. I rank at the top of my HS grade level academically taking the most challenging courses including four AP classes my Junior year with an unweighted GPA above 4.0. I have been double accelerated from early middle school. I recently scored a 1500 on my SAT scoring 750 in Math and English. I am interested in studying Physics at the college and graduate levels and moving on to a PhD program.
My passions for swimming and dance help to keep me fit and ready for the rowing season. My goals for the 2021 modified season are to help our freshman and novice members with the technical aspects of rowing and personally pull a 6:30 2k.
Getting certified and working a summer job as a lifeguard during a pandemic was a challenge. I am ready to take future challenges head on.
