Tommy Hach '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Thomas(Tommy) Hach, and I am in the class of 2025. I am in my junior year at Aurora High School in Ohio which is 30 minutes southeast of Cleveland. I have a 4.0 GPA and work hard in the classroom, weight room, and on the field. I have been working out intensively for the past year, and realize the weight room is what separates good players from great players. I have loved the sport of baseball as soon as I was able to grip the bat. Starting from a young age until now, I have always loved baseball and been a student of the game.  It started out as a way for me and my dad to bond together, but as I got older and I started competing at a higher level, my family and I are starting to realize it can be more than just a hobby.  About my personality - you're getting a guy who always has a smile on his face and is super outgoing with new people and teammates. During practice, I take my reps seriously but also value the relationships I have with coaches and teammates. 

Now on the baseball side, you are getting a quick and fast middle infielder who can also play third base. I use my hands and quick feet to record outs.  I currently have pulled down 83 mph, and working everyday to increase my throwing velocity.  I am a gap to gap hitter, who can leg out infield singles and turn doubles into the gap for triples.  My hardest hit ball was recorded this fall at 93 mph at Kent State University, and like every other measurable, I'm trying to improve my physicality.  Every coach I have ever had has told me that I have great instincts on the bases, and follow the ball well when pushing for that extra base. I do not strike out a lot, and have a good feel for the strike zone.  I also love coming up in the clutch and have led most of my teams in 2OBA/RISP. This summer I will again be playing with Release Baseball, a proven premier travel ball team based in Northeast Ohio.
