I’ve been playing baseball since I was 2. I enjoy playing baseball because it teaches you to do your job Or someone else will take it from you. I come from a small town (Binger, Oklahoma, home of Hall-Of-Fame catcher Johnny Bench) where baseball is our everything. I came into my Freshman year of high school playing with the most talented and well rounded group of players I have ever seen. The fall season of my freshman year we fell short in the state tournament in the quarterfinals, but in the spring we brought home the gold by beating Tushka 3-2. My sophomore season was not on for the books, we had lost a lot and were still recovering from it as we were eliminated in districts both seasons. My junior year the fall season we had a new coach come and take the reigns. It was like whole new territory for us. We had the same coach since most of us were in 7th grade, and now we have a totally plan change. Our fall season didn’t go very well as we were eliminated from the district tournament again, but the spring season was one to remember, we made it to the finals of the regional tournament and gave it all we had but fell short in the championship game. Now I am entering my senior season and looking to start right where we left off!
