Kayden Collier '28 Recruiting Profile

I think that I will make a great fit for any team. I exceed academically because as a student athlete, I feel that in order to thrive on the field, I need to excel in the classroom first. I understand the game of baseball and I try to be a leader on and off the field. Playing the game I love since I was 4 years old has taught me that, in order for me to succeed, I will have to continue to work hard and make sacrifices. I am a good team player. I am willing to put in the work and know that I can always get better with the help of my coaches. I also try to help the team by pushing each other to get better. I look forward to having this opportunity to further my career both athletically and academically. My parents, Joe and Bailey Collier, both attended York College in Nebraska where they received bachelor's degrees in business while playing baseball and basketball on scholarships. I am a Christian and my faith in God plays a big role in my success. Also, in my free time I enjoy going fishing, or riding my atv around the family farm, but most of all baseball if my favorite out of all of them.
