  • Defensive Evaluation Notes- • Needs to work out front more when fielding on the INF • Needs to get lower, but keep chest up slightly more • Works out front and through the backhand well • Gets excellent reads and routes to the ball in the OF • Needs to high-point the ball more Overall Evaluation- • Jacob needs to continue to develop over his remaining HS years to be considered a prospect at the 4-year level. He showed some quality offensive and defensive tools. He would benefit from offensive and defensive drill work to clean up some of his mechanical flaws. Jacob has a chance to develop into a really nice player Offensive Evaluation Notes- • Needs to flatten out the shoulders in set-up… gets over tilted • Would benefit from using the legs more • Needs to work on finishing on the front side and eliminating the collapse on the back side • Hands need to get started sooner and create a more pronounced load

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
