Personal Statement
I have played baseball since I was 4. I am originally from St. Louis Mo. home of the St. Louis Cardinals so of course the love of baseball is in my blood. My mom was also born and raised there and is the main reason I started playing. I respect and love the sport of baseball and have worked and will continue to work as hard as I can to be the best that I can be for not only myself to learn and improve but to be part of a team that has the same values.
At the beginning of every season I set personal goals for myself and work very hard to achieve them. My freshman year one goal was to start Varsity, I achieved that and worked daily to keep my position on our team. I lettered my freshman year and was one of my goals also. My sophomore year I earned the spot to be a starting pitcher for Varsity. I was voted Triple Crown All-Tournament Team at The Mickey Mantle Classic in 2019. For the second year in a row my High School team competed in Regionals and I pitched the Championship game that led us to a win to push on to State. I will be attending an Under Armour National Tour even on November 24th in Shreveport Louisiana at Cetenary College.
I believe that attitude is one of the top qualities that coaches, and managers pay very close attention to. When I'm not on the field with the team for practices or game days I am in the cages and on the field as much as possible. My goal after graduation is to play college baseball and ultimately go as far as God allows. I have the desire, dedication, determination, discipline, and abilities to do all I can to make that dream to a reality.
